MILLER-DWAN FOUNDATION UNRESTRICTED GRANTS
Grants from unrestricted funds are available for projects at the Miller-Dwan
Medical Center—and other community nonprofits—for programs and services that fit
within the grant-making interests of the Foundation. Eligible organizations must
be located within the service area of Miller-Dwan Medical Center, which includes
portions of northeastern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula
of Michigan. Projects may fall along a spectrum from prevention activities, to
assistance within the medical community, to community-based programs. This is
the oldest grant program offered by the Foundation, and it uses funds from the
Foundation endowment to make grants. So far, we have distributed over $6,000,000
in unrestricted funds to address the health needs of our area.
Grant applications must be received by the following deadlines:
March 1st for review in April
July 1st for review in August
October 1st for review in November
