The Miller-Dwan Foundation offers the Equipment Recycling Program to people in the community of Duluth and the surrounding areas. The Equipment Recycling Program provides people in need with gently used medical equipment in safe, working condition… Free of cost! The process is simple and the reward is worthwhile!
Throughout the past five years, the Miller-Dwan Foundation has enhanced the way of life for a number of people in our community who have benefited from our Equipment Recycling Program. We are pleased to offer our service and hope it continues to be successful!

Guidelines
The Miller-Dwan Foundation asks that you follow a few simple guidelines when receiving or donating equipment from or to us. First of all, in order to receive the equipment, you must contact us to verify that the piece of equipment is still available.
Next, we will set up a date and time for you to come and pick up the equipment. If the equipment is a larger piece, we will arrange for Midwest Medical to drop it off. When picking up the piece of equipment, you will be asked to fill out and sign a recipient form. This form is for us to keep track of our equipment and explains that the Miller-Dwan Foundation and Midwest Medical are not at fault if the equipment does not perform to your expectations.
If you are interested in donating equipment, there are other guidelines to follow. First, contact us and inform us with the details about the equipment you wish to donate. If we feel it is something that can be reused, we will set up a date and time for you to drop it off. Again, if the piece of equipment is a larger piece, we will arrange for Midwest Medical to pick it up. Next, we will ask you to fill out and sign a donation form stating it is a donation and no financial compensation is expected and you give up all rights of ownership. By following these few simple guidelines, it will make this an efficient program. We appreciate your cooperation.
